Welcome to our 4th grade website! As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, we are learning from home. iReady packets are available on the schools website, www.excelsiorcharteracademy.org

Curriculim & Instruction:

Our lessons are standards-based. Math lessons will cover the following concepts: Operations & Algebraic Thinking, Numbers & Operations (base-ten & fractions), Measurement & Data, and Geometry. For science, the three main areas that will be covered are Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. The curriculum used comes from Go Math, Performcane Coach, Engage NY, and Elevate Science.

This Week in Math:

Our focus is measurement and conversions; the US Customary System and the Metric System 

This Week in Science:

We are learning about plant and animal traits and characteristics.

Home Learning:

Homework sheets are sent home every Monday. The homoework for that week is collected the following Monday. Parents must initial HW daily to acknowledge that they are monitoring students homework.
